What is Thermage?
The Thermage procedure is performed with the ThermaCool System and it is the first non-invasive device that tightens tissues. This tissue tightening effect can produce a visibly effective reduction in the signs of ageing.
This procedure treats the deeper structures of skin using heat to tighten collagen fibres and the underlying tissues. This tightening promotes a natural repair process within these skin structures which in turn creates additional skin tightening and restoration of a more youthful, radiant appearance.
How a Thermage procedure works
Thermage is a non-invasive procedure and lasts approximately two hours.
Radio waves are used to deliver heat to targeted areas to tighten and remodel the deep structures within the skin.
The surface of the skin is simultaneously protected by the ThermaCool System which administers a protective cooling spray throughout the procedure.
What is Thermage used for?
Thermage is used to to improve the aesthetic appearance of the skin and create younger looking skin. You may be a suitable candidate for Thermage if you want to:
- Reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles
- Revitalise aged skin
