How Does CALECIM® Help Stimulate Collagen?
One of the principal reasons patients seek skin rejuvenation treatments is the gradual loss of collagen that naturally occurs with age.
Collagen is the skin’s primary structural protein. It provides firmness, elasticity and resilience, helping maintain a smooth, youthful appearance. From our mid-twenties onwards, collagen production slowly declines, while existing collagen fibres gradually become fragmented through ageing, sun exposure and environmental damage.
Medical procedures such as microneedling and fractional CO₂ laser resurfacing work by creating controlled microscopic injury within the skin.
